Situated on the north coast of Menorca, close to the Son Parc beach, Son Parc golf course began its life as a nine hole complex. In August 2006, following extensive work, the new 18 hole course was opened to the public.
The opening hole at Son Parc is a relatively short par 5 measuring 440m and at stoke index 11 offers a gentle start to your round. The main threats to beginning your round with a par are two fairway bunkers within driving range and the elevated green that will cause problems if you are short with your approach.
The most difficult hole comes fairly early in your round, measuring 452m the fifth is a par 5 that narrows down to a tight undulating green which all adds up to a difficult approach and a difficult par. The last hole at Son Parc is a 147m par 3 which at stroke index 12 might appear to provide a gentle end to your round – it will as long as you clear the trees guarding the front of the green!
