Rockley golf course, situated on the south coast of Barbados, is the oldest golf club in Barbados. This nine hole parkland style golf course uses alternate tee positions to give you the choice of playing 18 holes. From the back tees this results in a par 70 course measuring 5610 yards, which is not the longest of courses, but beware a wayward tee shot will be punished.
The first hole is a straight par 4 measuring 312 yards that looks like an easy start, but a combination of a slightly raised green and tricky pin positions can see you starting your round with a bogey or worse. The fifth hole is considered the most difficult at Rockley golf club. Measuring 456 yards this is a long par four by anyone’s standards and is further complicated by the narrow fairway. Your round at Rockley ends with a gentle 253 yard par 4 giving a real opportunity of finishing with a par or even a birdie.
