Rimini golf club takes its name from the popular resort that lies approximately 14km to the west. This Brian Silva designed complex opened to the public in 1993. Brian Silva designed a course that made the most of its natural surroundings and offers spectacular views of the outlying districts.
The Rimini complex offers an 18 hole golf course and a 7 hole executive course which is reserved mainly for beginners. On the main course water in the form of ponds and streams comes into play on most holes. This is clearly in evidence on the opening par 5 hole where water will test your nerves on every shot – at stoke index 5 this is a tough start to your round.
The most difficult hole is the 400m par 4 6th where water again features down the right hand side and strategically placed bunkers will catch a drive that is not accurately placed.
