Opening in 1992 this 27 hole golf course was designed by Enrique Canales to ensure the best views of the Atlantic Ocean were exploited. Islantilla golf club offers excellent practice facilities that include a golf academy, 260m driving range, large chipping green with practice bunkers and a putting green. The golf academy can provide individual or group lessons, a range of weekend courses or alternatively a lesson on the actual golf course.
Golfers visiting the Islantilla complex have the flexibility to make up their 18 holes from any combination of the 3 loops of nine. The blue course has been designed for the low handicap golfer, the green course is aimed at the intermediate golfer and yellow course for the higher handicap golfer. This allows golfers to choose an option that suits their currently playing standard.
