Founded in 1890 the Island Golf Club is located on the east coast of Ireland just a short drive from Dublin Airport. This links style course seems to be surrounded by water with the Irish Sea on one side and Broadmeadow Estuary on the other.
The stoke index 6 first hole is no easy start, measuring 397 yards aim to keep your tee shot down the left to give you the best possible approach to the green. The par 3 ninth is the easiest hole on the course measuring just 153 yards - but beware it is pretty well guarded by bunkers. The toughest hole on the Island course is the eighteenth. This 421-yard par 4 demands a straight drive, which will still leave a tricky approach to the green.
