This 36 hole complex was designed by Alvaro Arana. The original 18 hole El Rompido South course opened in 2003 with its sister course, El Rompido North course, opening in 2006. The complex takes its name from the small fishing village of the same name.
At 402 metres the stoke index 6 first hole on the South course is no easy opener. The hole has a dog leg to the right and with water also on the right you will be pleased with an opening 5 on this hole.
The narrow fairway and trouble on the left and right combine to make the par 5 14th the toughest hole in the Rompido South.
