About Castro Marim Golf Course
Located near to the boarder with Spain, Castro Marim is the most easterly golf course on the Algarve. This Terry Murrey designed course opened in 2001 and is located near its name sake village of Castro Marim.

The course is relatively hilly and as such offers excellent views of the mountains, Atlantic ocean and the surrounding areas. Interestingly the golf course has an underground irrigation system that means you won’t be caught out by the sprinkler system.

The golf academy has a wide range of teaching facilities available and the team professionals offer individual or group tuition.

"Castro Marim has a brand new Clubhouse, recently completed, which has excellent facilities. The course is not long, but it is tight, with several blind holes. The views from various holes are stunning, especially of the Guadiana Bridge, and Spain across the border. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. From July 2006 to September 2006 there is a promotional rate of 70 Euro on Wednesday and Sundays, for two people and a buggy, which is excellent value.
I have an Apartment at Costa Esuri, which is just across the border in Spain. Two new golf courses are under construction at this development, the first will become playable late 2006/early 2007.
